nothing-rhymes-with-ianto:

I just noticed this contrast.

At what is basically the lowest point in their lives, Jack offers comfort. Ianto pushes away, half urgently and half regretfully, and Owen accepts it, dropping into it and taking comfort from Jack’s embrace.

It really is sort of indicative of how they function when they’re upset. Ianto works things out by himself, alone, before he accepts any sort of help or comfort. Owen will accept comfort when offered, but tends to push it away in order to protect himself.
